Favor Delivery: Customer Privacy

Favor, as pretty much any technically savvy company collects pretty much all information available on their customers. Having read and summarized Favor's Privacy Policy, which is available at the bottom of this post.

Refreshing Approach

Favor's privacy policy and its approach to customer information was very refreshing to say the least. Other company's have very long privacy policy contracts and use technical words to describe its policies. These type of contracts can be difficult for the user to understand, let alone have the time and interest to read a "book." Favor on the other hand, had a very simple approach to its privacy policy. Favor's privacy policy is short and understandable. Aside form the simple nature of its privacy policy, Favor clearly states it does not plan to sell any customer information and will only use the information gathered for internal purposes.

Customer Information Protection

Favor clearly states that it takes many steps to secure customer information. The company claims to have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the information. Favors uses secure servers protected by firewalls and use encryption technology. Favor, however, acknowledges that no internet transaction is 100% secure and cannot ensure the safety of any information shared by the user.

Analytics

My blog received 359 page views from 284 users. According to blogger analytics, my
"Favor Delivery: Organic and Paid Search Ranking's " blog was the most popular among my audience. I believe the reason for the blogs success has to do with the blogs title, organic and paid search are highly used keywords. Most of my audience came from the following countries:

  1. Unites States (23.01%)
  2. Russia (13.64%)
  3. China (7.10%)
  4. Netherlands (6.53%)

Google analytics allowed me to see that out of my 284 users, 97.13% never came back. This is a clear indication that my blog's content is not appealing to my users. The solution is clear, I must improve my content.
